How we hire
Let’s walk you through the steps.
The four hiring stages
Stage 1: Apply
Find your role, send your CV.
Stage 2: Screening
If you’re a fit, we’ll reach out to set up a call.
Stage 3: Technical
Depending on the role, there’s a technical test, just to make sure you’ve got the skills to make an impact from day one.
Stage 4: Culture fit
Getting to know you (no pressure).

We read every application and reply as fast as we can. If you’re a fit, we’ll reach out to set up a screening call.
We wish we could reply to everyone, but we get too many applications to give personal feedback. It usually comes down to one of two things: the role needed different skills, or we didn’t get a clear feel for how you’d fit our culture.

Depends on the role. Kitchen and site teams work on-site; many office and tech roles are hybrid.
No riddles and no trick questions. You’ll work on real problems from our roadmap, then finish with a conversation about how you like to work.
Calo will never ask for money, financial details, or passwords while hiring. Real recruiters write from @calo.app addresses only.
