How it works

From first bite to full plate

Explore our open roles and find the position that matches your appetite. Filter by team, location, or role type — there is something for every palate. Take your time, read the descriptions, and pick the dish that excites you most.

Submit your application with your CV and any links to work you are proud of. No cover letter needed — we would rather see what you have built than read about it. Keep it real, keep it you.

A quick introductory call with our recruiting team. We want to learn about your background, what excites you, and what you are looking for. Come with questions — this is a two-way conversation, not a pop quiz.

The main event. You will meet the hiring manager and potential teammates for deeper conversations and, depending on the role, a practical assessment. We are looking at how you think, collaborate, and solve problems — not trick questions.

An intimate sit-down with the team and leadership to see if the chemistry is right. This is where we explore culture fit — shared values, working styles, and mutual expectations. Think of it as tasting the full menu together before committing.

If it is a match, we move fast. Expect an offer within days of your final interview, followed by a smooth onboarding experience. Welcome meal included — because every great journey at CALO starts with a great plate.

Tips to succeed

Tips to succeed

We love people who go above and beyond before they even join.

Do your homework

The best candidates we've hired all had one thing in common — they researched CALO deeply. They knew our mission, our challenges, our markets. When you show up prepared, it tells us you care about the mission, not just the job.

Be yourself — unapologetically

We don't hire resumes, we hire people. The candidates who stand out are the ones who bring their whole selves to the conversation. We want to know what drives you, what you're passionate about, and what makes you uniquely you.

Show, don't just tell

If you've built something, shipped something, created something — show us. A portfolio, a side project, a community initiative — anything that proves you don't just talk about doing things, you actually do them.

Ask bold questions

The interview is a two-way street. We love candidates who ask thoughtful, challenging questions about our strategy, culture, or growth plans. It shows you're evaluating us just as seriously as we're evaluating you.

Frequently asked questions

Head to our open roles page, find the position that makes your heart (and stomach) sing, and hit apply. No cover letter needed — just your CV and a link to anything you are proud of: a portfolio, a GitHub, a side project, even a killer recipe blog. We review every single application.
Typically 2-3 rounds: a recruiter screen to get to know you, a technical or task-based assessment relevant to the role, and a final culture-fit conversation with the team. We keep it conversational, not adversarial. Think of it as a first date — we are both figuring out if this is a match.
We aim to respond within 1-2 weeks. We know waiting is the worst part (right after an empty fridge), so we do our best to move fast. Due to high volume, we may not always provide personalized feedback, but you will always receive a status update.
Yes! For specialized roles, we provide full visa sponsorship and relocation support — flights, paperwork, settling-in assistance, the works. We have team members from 35+ countries, so we are pretty good at this by now.
We have a hybrid culture that varies by role and team. Some positions are fully remote, while others benefit from being in one of our hubs (Bahrain, Riyadh, Dubai). Each job listing specifies the work arrangement, so check the details before applying.
Absolutely — and all our internships are paid. We believe interns should be treated like teammates, not coffee runners. Many of our full-time stars started as interns. If you do not see an open internship, submit an interest application and we will keep you on our radar.
You can, but we recommend focusing on the one or two roles that best match your skills and experience. Quality over quantity — kind of like our meal plans. Applying to everything can dilute your candidacy, so pick the roles where you will truly shine.
Welcome to the family! Our People team will guide you through onboarding — think gear setup, team intros, a buddy system, and (of course) your first CALO meal on us. We want your first week to feel less like a firehose and more like a warm welcome.
